OTH

Do not let your fire go out, sparked by the irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swaps of the not quite, the not yet, and the not at all. Do not let all the hero in your soul perish in the lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach.

The world you desire can be won. It exists. It is real. It is possible. It is yours.

- Ayn Rand as narrated by Lucas on One Tree Hill

Twilight

My home country was supposed to be the first one to show the 'Twilight'movie but, for some unknown reasons, they moved the opening date a week after! *sigh*

During the severe phenomena a few months ago (with vitriolic reactions to casting Robert Pattinson), I was pulled into that vortex. Allowing myself to suddenly buy all the books at once & read them in record time (no regrets, they were all sold out a few days later XD), searching all news about the movie & its cast, and even Stephenie Meyers' & the Twilighters' websites!

I was ecstatic with the movie. Actually, I do like Rob eversince he came out in Harry Potter and I've always thought Kristen was a lesbian...until now, LOL! But I never forgot her in Panic Room (she really looks like Jodie Foster). I'm still wondering how they're going to make Shark Boy 'tower' over Rob in books 3 & 4, though.

After months of waiting (and numerous theatrical previews & 'in the making's), now I just want to get it done & over with, REALLY!!! I'm not that excited anymore. Honestly, those previews just made the whole movie for me hahaha....but I'll still definitely watch it, probably a few days after the screaming fans had gotten over it...

Hackers

Hackers....the more scheming & vexatious they have become through the years. Even after hacking yahoo & msn accounts to acquire information & monetary gains, they even try to chat with you & tell you mean things. Honestly, vitriolic turpitude!!! Ha!

I sure hope somebody really catches them...

Rainism

I've been keeping track of Rain's (5th) new album and, collectively, I really have mixed emotions about it. I do love ALL the dance moves & MV's, though. The teasers were a very nice move of his company to raise my (or anyone else's) curiosity. Actually, I still can't wait until they release the 2nd part of the Love Story MV (hoping they will develop it into a movie).

Really like the song "Love Story" but the more I listen to it, I remember his other song, "I(Nan)". The carrier song, "Rainism", has weird lyrics but I love the dance moves on the MV! Among the other songs, "Fresh Woman" also stands out and it's just so funny how he dons the afro wig :)

As a whole, I do admire that he's an exciting performer (still) and I just can't wait to see him back on the TV screens.

Fog

0030hrs, 11th Oct 2008, Q.City Philippines

Wow, we got surprised when we realized that there is fog! It's been awhile, you know...finally, Christmas is near XD!

Then right outside my home, they installed the new street lighting....much brighter than before (i hope those are energy-efficient lighting!) so the fog made it more eerie :)

Definitely loved it, though!

Work Wisdom

I often work late hours, a force of habit since my college days...I've always thought of it as the most convenient hours in magnifying one's creativity (hahaha). I guess I just love solitude, no one to really bother you while doing work.

When I was in Singapore, I did a lot of late night works mostly because it'll be totally boring to be home alone anyways. It was always my boss whom I frequently share the late nights with. I guess we do have the same sentiments on the solitude thing. Sometimes we just stay in the office for hours without talking, really just doing our work. When I was just starting out, he never fails to teach me about all the things necessary for me to 'survive' in my work. He became a real friend over the course of my tenure in that company.

One time I asked him why he is fearless in teaching his staff about all things he has learned. He told me that sharing is a gift that one must be able to value. He is never afraid to impart knowledge. Anyways, he said, I still have things I learn everday which you don't know about so the edge is still there (then laughs). Honestly, the respect I had for him intensified from there on ans I vowed to do the same for my staff as well. If one can be as unselfish as he is, I think the world (work, in particular) would be a much better place to live in.

Been Wondering...

A lot of my friends have been blogging for years and I am sometimes envious on how they can create wonderful compositions on their own blogsite. Although I've started blogging in my multiply site, ain't it nice to have your own blogsite???!!!

Well, this is the beginning of another life for the StrandedAngel :)

My son actually asked me about the identity and I told him that once I have been alone and felt stranded in another country. The "angel" part needs no explanation, though. I've always felt everyone's an angel :) including me...
